I bought this so that I could eat “healthy” chips LOL. My son uses it more than me but it gets used at least 3 times a week. We haven’t quite mastered “golden” chip yet but I expect it will be a matter of trial & error with the temperature & perhaps timing. We are sticking to the recommendations at the moment but they are brown round the edges whether they are frozen or fresh. Also can’t get the fresh ones to go crispy!! My real annoyance is that for the price Philips could have thrown in the baking tray but you have to buy this separately from their website! I didn’t read any reviews that had the same problem with the chips so I will keep practicing
