Amazing value Excellent product.I use it for everything. Nothing sticks. Cleans easily.
Fry sausages or lamb cubes then pour batter over. Pop it into a pre-heated oven. Bingo “toad in the hole” and its inherently more healthy than aluminium or non stick Teflon.
Highly recommended. Unlikely to wear out at all. Your grand children will in all probability use this.
Take care though as the handle does get as hot as the pan and an oven glove or handle protector is a must…………..

I am slowly moving away from teflon to cast iron as a non stick medium and this pan is brilliant. It was actually pre seasoned when it arrived so it was non stick from the first use. Being deep it’s very useful for cooking sauces, stews and even small roasts, and can be transferred to the oven for slow cooking. Despite it being heavy, I wish Lodge did an even larger version of the same pan.

yes it did i loved my non stick pans but ive always been annoyed about the length of time before they need replacing and id been hearing that the coating leached plastics into your cooking and were not so good for your health so i took the plunge and thought id try these. now i feel a fool for all the money wasted on replacing non stick cookware (no the cheap stuff i have to add) i fry eggs in this with a ml if that of oil ,doesnt stick at all wipe round job done. ive ordered 2 more of different sizes and am going to replace the majority of my cookware. ill never have to buy a non stick pan or any other pan again, ill save loads of cash ,i feel cheated now by my previous cookware. these are not too heavy and are not at the high prices of the french cast iron pans which always seem a bit high to me. buy one remember check the dimentions though.
