The only set of pans you’ll ever need,
These saucepans are quite simply the best I’ve ever used.
From the moment you unbox them and yes, there is quite a lot of unboxing, to holding them in your hands and realising the weight and quality put in to these sculpted bits of metal is quite extraordinary, you fall in love. Or at least, I did.
Each pan is made from a solid body, completely coated in the best non-stick substance I’ve ever seen. It might sound obvious and cliché, but having the coating on the outside really makes them easy to clean and food just effortlessly slides off, same as the inside.
Attached to the body by high quality rivets is a light but very strong handle, ending in a v shaped fork and wrapped in a silicone grip to keep the handle cool. AT the end is a loop for hanging. Finally, each pan other than the 3 frying pans comes with a self-clearing glass lid, also with a silicone coated handle attached by rivets. These handles are a loop design, so no grabbing on to little knobs and having them slip through your fingers.
Each pan is very deep, which leaves less chance for spillages over the edge and each is heavy enough with an extra thick bottom that it won’t slide all over the hob whilst you’re cooking. The Silicone grips on the metal handles really do, in my opinion make the world of difference both for gripping and for keeping it cool.
A few things to keep in mind when you first use these. Not negative points at all, just to be mindful of.
1. These pans get extremely hot, all over. Quite alarmingly so in fact, so you may wish to turn the heat down and gradually increase when you first begin cooking. Also, I would not recommend touching the body of the pan with a bare hand whilst it’s heated. The pans retain heat for a great length of time, so always use the handle to move them. I say this because whilst they cook better than any pan I’ve ever used, they also get a lot hotter than any panI’ve ever used.
2. Purchase some good quality utensils for use on these pans, don’t scratch the non-stick surface. I would recommend any of the Colourworks Silicone utensils range, they have no metal or plastic parts and are completely safe on any type of non-stick item, in addition to the fact they’re safe up to 260 degrees and hardly get warm whilst you’re using them.
3. When cleaning the pans, make sure you use a soft cloth, not anything which might damage the non-stick coating. Food really does simply slide off and after about 30 seconds in a
bowl of hot soapy water, you can just nudge it gently to remove it. I personally don’t put these in the dishwasher, they’re so easy to clean and dry, I see no need.
4. The set says it includes 3 saucepans. This is true, however they may not be quite what you expect. Certainly it has 2 traditional looking saucepans with a stuck out handle, the only difference here is that they are quite deep compared to other pans I’ve seen. However, the largest saucepan of the 3 is actually a smaller version of the stock pot, i.e. 2 handles one on either side. I don’t personally mind this at all, but just something to keep in mind.
If you’re looking for a good set of pans, you really can’t go wrong with these, they’ll last you a life-time. If I can make my rubbish £25 set from university last me 8 years, imagine
how long these will keep for.

|Pan Set,
The Pan set arrived promptly and the quality of the set is excellent. However, one pan had a slight dent on the rim possibly caused by damamge in transit. I managed to straignten the dent out in the main and did not want to go through the hassle of sending it back for replacement. Have used most of the pans and they are great to use.
