This review is from: Kuhn Rikon Duromatic Inox Pressure Frying Pan (24cm), 2.5 Litre (Kitchen & Home)
I have an ordinary Kuhn Rikon pressure cooker which gets a lot of use. Its only limitation is that if you want to make a thick stew it will burn onto the bottom unless you put the stew into a basin sitting on a trivet inside the cooker. This makes for more washing up, especially if you fry ingredients first in a separate frying pan.
This non-stick pressure frying pan solves the problem. You can fry in it, then add other ingredients and liquid and lock the lid down. You need to get a thick stew up to pressure on a lower heat than when you are just boiling something, but this only adds a few minutes. You still get an exceptionally speedy, tender result.
It is also excellent as a general purpose lower volume pressure cooker and you can use any sort of implement on the titanium non-stick layer. One of my absolute favourite pieces of cooking gear, and in constant use.

This is really the best cooking pan I have ever used in 40 odd years. Best frying pan without a doubt and now an excellent saute-stew-casserole dish as well. It is beautifully designed and safe to use.
Whilst it’s not particularly cheap, it will be worth every penny. A joy to use! I’m completely delighted with this product.
