|The pan’s good, but the lid is poorly thought out,
I own the 20cm pan from this set, and I would agree about it being easy to clean and I like its depth and comfortable handle.
However, the ‘close-fitting’ lid is just that. It has no hole or slot for ventilation, and it will not sit in a slightly open position to allow you to boil potatoes or whatever, in the manner that every housewife I have ever known would do.
You have the choice of closed (in which case the contents tend to boil up and dislodge the lid in a messy fashion) or completely open with no lid on (inefficient and steamy).
I have solved the problem by swapping lids with a pan of a different make, but I am disappointed that Prestige had not thought through how people would actually use the pan. Nor indeed had a major consumer organisation who made this their Best Buy.

Pleased with the purchase of this offer.Well made,study and do what you buy them for.They look good in the kitchen,sitting on a grill like shelf.Highly recommend.We always got the cheaper option and they looked like it.They never lasted and ended up dangerous with their wobbly handles.Bought from a company/person who delivered well packed and p&p was good.Well done and thank you.
