I was bought this as a housewarming gift, none of us realised just how small it is… It actually fits in the palm of my hand, definately not big enough for a sausage, maybe a single potato, but yeah, just be warned. Saying that it is of very high quality. I have returned it and will be buying something slightly bigger

I hadn’t realised just how tiny this casserole was going to be (approx 10cm circumference or 4″, and 4cm high without lid, just under 2″). However, in spite of its tiny size it is a very good casserole, pretty colour too, and keeps all the smells locked inside while it is cooking. This is an important point for me as I am vegetarian & do not want to smell meat & fish being cooked by others. It is an excellent size for one portion.

LE CREUSET Petite Round Casserole Dish/Mini-Cocotte in STONEWARE.

* Base diameter : 8 cm, flaring gently out to 9.75 cm top diameter
* Overall width : 13.5 cm wide (including handles)
* Approximate depth : 4.5 cm
* Approximate capacity : 0.25L

LE CREUSET embossed on the lid and on the unglazed external base.

Useful little lidded dish to serve an individual hot or cold starter/pud in, or an oven baked:-

* Casserole
* Soufflé
* Cottage Pie
* Macaroni Cheese
* Chilli Mince……

These dinky little ‘pots’ are really easy to use and clean up, although sometimes a short soak and a rub with a plastic brush is required for those more stubborn baked-on food remains.

This unit takes 900g of chocolate and is a really sturdy and classy looking product. We have used it for 3 parties in quick succession and each time the fountain has done a great job, would recommend for any one planning a party at home.

This non stick casserole with lid is very good value. Bought for mum used it the other day to cook in it sweet and sour chicken. Did not stick cooked the meal to perfection no problem whatsoever. Cleaning it afterwards was easy. Hopefully with the daily use it will be the same. Thinking of buying another one in the coming months for when we move to our new home.

I find all these BBC pans excellent value and very useful. The handles are strong and this casserole dish is truly non-stick. I often reach for it instead of my more expensive Le Creuset pots as it is much lighter. It will also serve to make chutneys in small quantities.

About 18 months ago we changed our cooker to an induction type, electric cooker & bought a set of Circulon Steel Elite saucepans. We decided that we needed an extra saucepan, 18cm size, as it;s the most used saucepan in the set. We bought this extra one as the saucepans are great to use on any hob but especially on an induction hob. Great quality item.
